ABOUT BEYOND ADDICTION PROGRAM

Beyond Addiction program started in 2008 by Sat Dharam Kaur ND and renewed and expanded further with Dr. Gabor Maté from 2012.

The program is created and structured combining Kundalini Yoga, Counselling and Naturopathic Medicine. The program is a result of accumulated knowledge and experience of Sat Dharam Kaur ND along with Dr. Gabor Maté’s teachings and other experts in the addiction field.

Designed and intended to help people, the program supports individuals in establishing healthy thought patterns and behaviours to nourish mind, body and spirit and manifest an inspired and fulfilling life.

Beyond Addiction program is offered in both online and offline formats. Till date Beyond Addiction program has offered 40 online and 50 offline courses and trainings.

They are held globally and has a multilingual base it has a reach across Chile, Ecuador, Iceland, Hungary, Canada, US, Spain, Denmark (community program), Belgium, Turkey.

It will be launched soon in Italy and France.

It is currently hosted in  Hungarian, Turkish, Spanish, French, Italian, English, Icelandic languages.

With the current situations our intentions of helping people have grown stronger than ever before. For people who are unable to attend a Beyond Addiction program from where they live, and are persevering to be the best version of self, this online program is designed for you.

Kundalini Yoga:

Beyond Addiction utilises the yogic system of Kundalini Yoga that was brought to North America in 1968, but has evolved over thousands of years, originating in India. Kundalini Yoga is a dynamic and a scientific system combining breathing, movement, stretching, postures, meditation, the use of sound and rhythm, relaxation and meditation. Beyond Addiction modules includes pranayama, a sequence of postures for specific effects, relaxation and meditation.

Counselling:

In the program the group becomes a safe container to experience and express our pain, and to recognize that we are not alone with it. We are seen, heard, understood and held. Once the painful emotions are discharged, and the core beliefs of the inner child are brought to awareness and examined, we can shift our perspective and release shame and judgement. Compassion can be brought to all aspects of the self.

Naturopathic Medicine:

Our naturopathic doctors can guide you through the dietary and nutritional Beyond Addiction protocols to make recovery much easier for you. We have protocols to decrease cravings and withdrawal symptoms, improve mood, decrease anxiety, improve sleep, balance the adrenal glands and assist with detoxification.
